My name is Bryan Goff and I am a photographer based out of Petaluma, California. I grew up in Topanga Canyon in Southern California. When I turned 19 in 1996 I found myself wanting to travel and after a few failed attempts at earning income I enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. While I was in the Coast Guard I traveled all over the world; Hawaii, Baltimore, Washington, Alaska, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, 4 states in Australia, Japan, and Antarctica.
With all that traveling and seeing such cool places I started taking my first photographs in 1997. I was using a Minolta film camera and I had no idea as to what I was doing. My first digital camera was a, Canon Powershot S50, that I bought in 2003 for a trip to Antarctica. It was a great camera for the time, even though I only had a 32MB memory card. I’ve had many cameras since that one and now I am shooting with Sony Alpha Cameras. Sony Alpha Cameras are the best in the game right now. My current list of Sony Alpha Cameras are: Sony Alpha a6000, a6300, A7S and the A7Sii. If you ever have any questions about how I achieved a certain look on a photo, how I processed one or even how the Coast Guard was, please feel free to ask me. I will gladly help you in any way I can.
