It’s always nice to see my photos floating around on the web. This one was from a few years ago when I was on the Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL-752). We were doing a gun shoot at night. The length of the exposure on the photograph made it look like lasers were coming out of the gun. It is hosted on flicker by the United States Coast Guard.
USCGC Stratton (WMSL-752)
This is the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton. It is one of the U.S. Coast Guard’s newest ships and is home ported in Alameda, California. We pulled into Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for some rest and relaxation after a long 3 month patrol. The locals were very nice and the food was absolutely amazing. I was on my way back from a hotel with some friends and as we were walking back I saw the ship and it looked great at the pier. Because we were running late I was able to get this one picture of it. I took this with the Sony Alpha a6000 and the kit lens.
